There are a lot of old brick buildings in DUMBO and I always find awesome types! Just love how they look and feel, its texture… gets me every time. (as you may already know.)

I mentioned about 1st Thursdays DUMBO Gallery walk before, the June one is tomorrow — I think I will stop by again :)
111 Front Street Galleries have so many galleries in the building — you couldn’t help but notice the building itself — bright neon pink entrance with big “GALLERIES” sign on the wall through the glass door. (the picture doesn’t show the pink, it was at night and the lighting made it look like red… but it is really a neon pink!) So awesome.
and on the way back, the big “EXIT” sign tells you where to go :)

We went to the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene on Saturday morning to pick up our new dining table (oh my god, we love it! Pictures coming soon) and also found lots of awesome stuff! I learned something: go there in the morning and grab it if you really want it! There were tons of great stuff, but while I was eyeing things and making the rounds, some of them were gone. and I was so sad about missing them… :(

Don’t you love the old movie theaters? I was walking around Brooklyn Heights this weekend and look what I found. Brooklyn Heights Cinemas. Love the typography on the sign and the movie marquees.
