Wellfleet Drive-In Theatre and Flea Market

On our way to the Provincetown, we found this drive-in theatre! Have you been to one? I didn’t grow up in the States so I never even seen one before and this Wellfleet Drive-in Theatre is here since 1957, Randy remembers seeing some flicks here when he was young. They also had a flea market going on so we stopped by :)

The screen! and these microphones are set up on each parking space and you just hang this by your car window to get the sounds… wish we could have stick around until the night time to experience the drive-in, but we had to drive back before that… next time!

Next to the Drive-in, there was a big flea market. Took some photos to share :)

Mirrored letter brooches…

Love this box, great type :)

Wonderful collections of bottles…

Cute vintage Valentine’s day cards…

If you ever find yourself in the Cape Cod, try going there for a Drive-in experience and a flea market fun!

Found Type: Brooklyn Flea

Good morning. How was your weekend? Good, I hope! I started my holiday shopping, pulled out and decorated our Christmas tree (pictures soon)… gosh, I forgot how much I love the holidays! The city is really pretty, it’s worth going outside even though it’s in 30 degrees… aw

I stopped by Kings County General Store (I’ll be showing this Sunday, Dec 12th!) and Brooklyn Flea yesterday and found lots of types besides other things. I lost few images on my iPhone (she’s been acting crazy lately) but here are some that survived and wanted to be shared!

Let’s do this week!!

Vinegar Hill

As I mentioned yesterday’s post, there was a cute local flea market in Vinegar Hill so we took a walk around and looked around… and look what I found!

Old tools for sale:

Dolls on the window:

Display window with funny signs:

Blue door with heart-shape key hole and handle area:

Vinegar Hill is such a cute neighborhood, we love it around here. We had the best meal in a long time last night with our friends at Vinegar Hill House, too… along with a Christina Courtin concert at Barge Music. Great time!

Brooklyn Flea

We went to the Brooklyn Flea in Fort Greene on Saturday morning to pick up our new dining table (oh my god, we love it! Pictures coming soon) and also found lots of awesome stuff! I learned something: go there in the morning and grab it if you really want it! There were tons of great stuff, but while I was eyeing things and making the rounds, some of them were gone. and I was so sad about missing them… :(

Took some pictures, too, enjoy the flea!

Lots of Mason Jars:

Love these clocks — the colors are great.

Lots of frames:

This letter R was so special:

These little friends were so cute I wanted to take all of them home…
