YES. Always. This is from The Chocolate Room — Love the line! Perfect little statement for the brand :) Their logo is fun, too (below).

Miles to Style

Psst. There is a new blog in town :: Miles to Style. My friend slash lovely client Christine from LAMA has launched a blog about fashion and dog!

Christine and her adorable dog, Miles (I’ve met him when I first met Christine, he was in his bag, didn’t say anything throughout our meeting at a café. I remember being so impressed by him. What a good boy!) will show you how to coordinate “the look” together both you and your dog and I’m sure more fun posts are coming soon… isn’t it so fun and cute?!

I remember telling Christine when we first got Maia, she was just as excited as I was and she sent me TONS of links for cute dog bags, clothes and collars, I had no idea there were so many fashionable dog related things out there until I had a dog! And yes, she hooked me into all that right away :)

I was so very happy to be a little help putting together the design that she envisioned, too — still in progress, more to come!

Congratulations, Christine (and Miles), everything looks fabulous!! :) xo Hijiri

Pomme Chalkboard Sign

After posting the Mermaid Oyster Bar chalkboard yesterday, I passed by Pomme Children’s shop in DUMBO and realized that I hadn’t talked about this cute chalkboard sign that I love — isn’t it lovely? The little girl with the bubbles is their logo, using the silhouette as a chalkboard + little kid’s size chalkboard next to her = great store signage!

and here is the logo and store signage up on the building wall.

Inside, you’ll find great stuff for kids, but you and I could also enjoy very much :) Take a look at their online shop… see?

Blue Bottle Coffee

Another great win for the Giants last night, I’m sure the whole city is going crazy! I so wish I were there to witness everything and feel the energy… but before I do anything, I would stop by the Blue Bottle Coffee first. That’s exactly what we did when we landed in San Francisco this July — straight to the Blue Bottle!

The Hayes Valley kiosk to be exact:

I always love their logo and the store signs, too.

Lots of different kinds of beans… I like their packaging, too. Each name is hand stamped and the logo might be hand stamped as well.

There is a Blue Bottle Café in Ferry Building now (well, I don’t know when they came here, but not when I lived there) so of course, we stopped by there as well…

and look what I found! An embroidery café sign :) I thought it was so cute I had to take photos!

“Blue Bottle Customers Only, Please!” sign on the café table, also embroidered. So sweet, right? I love it :)

And I still love my cup of Blue Bottle every morning here in NY. Life is good. Happy Friday!
