Halloween 2012

I have been meaning to post about the Halloween this year — well, we had like 3 things to go to, but everything was cancelled due to the hurricane Sandy! So we just stayed home and played a little dress up :) (We all went for a walk in a costume, but outside was so dark due to the blackouts and no one was in costume! Well, very few kids… it was the least fun Halloween night I’ve ever had since I came to the US…)

Last year, Mili was only a few weeks old, I tried to take the same pictures and compared them with the pumpkin hat on… she grew so much!

And Mili and Maia as witch :) *I was going to be one, too… but oh well.

Hope we can lots of fun stuff next year!

Found Halloween

How was your Halloween? We couldn’t do much since we have a 2-weeks old baby this year… But found a death floating around at the superfine… Boo!

We also found a little pumpkin… :)

Hope you had a fun Halloween! Please share a link here if you have some Halloween photos, I’d love to see!

Happy Halloween Weekend!

Wishing you all a happy and safe Halloween this weekend! I’m actually taking a letterpress workshop at the Center for the Book Arts (can’t wait!) all weekend so I’m not sure how much Halloween stuff I could do this year… and Maia will have to rock out her witch costume from last year again this year… (sorry, mama has been so busy!)

I wanted to leave you with this great DIY — Thompson Family-Life Fabric Pumpkin Tutorial. Aren’t they so lovely? Not so spooky for Halloween, though, once you make it, you can have it around throughout October and November until Thanksgiving time :) I have so many little pieces of fabrics, this is great for that, too.

Have fun!!!
