Typographic Package Designs

Randy sent me a link to lots of awesome typographic package designs — very inspiring! I would suggest checking it out, there are some great designs.

This one looks like it’s been letterpressed:

I would love to design and print something for packages. The typographic design is great on this, too.

and wood type inspired package design for eggs. If I see this at the market, I would buy these eggs for sure.

Ecofont

Good morning! I hope you all had a nice 4th of July weekend… Happy Birthday, America :)

This morning, I am really inspired by the ecofont (created by SPRANQ): this font has white holes as you see and uses 20% less ink than usual. So your ink cartridges (or toner) could last longer. I might start using this font for my estimates and invoices… what a smart idea! It is totally ledgible, nice sans-serif font, too.

Available from T26 here or ecofont website here. Enjoy and save ink!

Found Type: Disneyland

Happy Friday, everyone! and it’s the 4th of July weekend!

For the happy holiday weekend, I’ll bring something from happy place… the Disneyland. yay. I love it there and it’s been more than 6-7 years since the last visit so I really wanted to spend a day there while we were in LA… :) This time, though, I looked at more designs and types and I was actually really amazed how well everything is designed and put together. It must have been so fun to work on the designs at Disneyland…

The entrance: this image here is a bit small to read, but it says “Population 500,000,000” — is that how many people Disneyland can hold? Also says “Elevation 138 feet”
