Mili’s 1st birthday is fast approaching (can’t believe it!) and I started doing some party planning… She definitely needs a party hat, right? I am thinking of making one for her… and found this great DIY tutorial of making a felt party hat here, I couldn’t help but share! So cute I think I have to give it a try :) *picture is from Princess Lasertron.
Or… I can buy this lovely hat from Colette Bream, too…
Isn’t it so sweet?
I’m off to a slow start today… a morning appointment in the city turned into all day thing, just getting back to start my week… (hope you had a nice weekend!)
and as I see even more Japan relief things that people are doing/organizing all over the Internet (so touching!!), I just couldn’t resist posting this Heart Brooch by Hine — soo cute!! I’m going to have to get one for myself :) 50% of all proceeds from her shop will be donated to Japan earthquake fund.
I still have some pictures to share from her show… will come soon! xo Hijiri
Eat Drink and Be Merry Set of four felt coasters by pepper sprouts are perfect for holiday parties and holiday gifts for the hosts, especially if you are / the host is into typography. The “Eat, Drink, and Be Merry” greeting has been lasercut from this beautiful wool felt. It’s cute to send this as a holiday greeting, too :)
I am still a bit tired from a fun night out on my birthday last night… (thanks so much to my husband, Randy!) so I wanted to share something pretty and soothing in my tired eye… this beautiful cascading flower wall art by Dashing Etc. Flowers are made of a light blue-gray wool blend felt in an embroidery hoop frame, so it is ready to hang.
There are more pretty felt flower art at Dashing Etc. etsy shop, make sure to check it out!
Have a great day, everyone :)
