Orange Bike

I saw this neon orange bike parked on the street the other day on Broadway in SOHO area… It sure caught my eyes and I thought it was some kind of street art, but I found out that it was a guerrilla marketing thing from DKNY to raise awareness for non-gas-guzzling methods of transport. It’s a Fashion Week in NYC and I guess it causes a lot of traffic in the city. I’m a big fan of guerrilla marketing, I think it’s so creative and unexpected way to do advertising.

Super Bowl XLll

I watch football game once a year ? on Super Bowl Sunday. I always do since I’ve been in Advertising industry. It’s a big commercial night, too!

When I was a student, if I didn’t watch Super Bowl, everyone would’ve been like “What are you, an ad student?!” and we had to talk about the commercials in the class so I had to watch it.

I usually watch it just for commercials, but this year, I was watching the game, too! Yes, with Randy the big fan of Patriots. It’s always fun (funny) to see a game with him screaming, standing around and frustrated. hehe It was so close for Patriots to win with a perfect season… but it wasn’t that easy in reality…

There were some commercials that spoofed movies and the Budweiser commercial that parodied ?Rocky? was cute and funny.

But the ones made me laugh the most was the E-trade commercials. I’ve seen a few baby talking commercials before, but these are so funny!

and now, you can watch all the commercials on MySpace.

Working with Heat

It’s been a little more than a month since I left Heat… it was so sad to leave after being there for a long time and being away from people I loved working with, but I knew I’d be talking to them and working with them again so when Sunni (the account director) called and asked for a help for Condé Nast online campaign launch, I was happy and… I think you can say I was “ready.”

It always takes more time than you think it would take. So funny. This is like 99% of the time. Even though you add some extra time before you start, there are a little things here and there that kill major time. So yes, it did take a lot longer… haha

Wood Fire Woodie

I finished designing “Wood Fire Woodie” logo last year and now, we are all ready for the website design as they are getting ready for its debut. Pat and Mariah have been wonderful to work with, they are very creative and fun couple and this is very exciting for them as well as for me. I won’t explain too much of what this is here yet… you will see it soon!
