Art in San Francisco

It was short, but fun trip to San Francisco, the weather was beautiful, nothing has changed since we moved away, I knew exactly where I was, where to go, how to get places… it was weird that we don’t live there any more and made me realize how unique, special and beautiful the city is!

I will start my post with some of the art installations in San Francisco, I couldn’t go everywhere so this is just the ones I happened to pass by, but I hope you enjoy!

One of the “Hearts” in Union Square:

(They had a whole art installation project called “Hearts in San Francisco” back in 2004 — that was my favorite art installation projects! Kind of like Chicago’s “Cows on Parade” there were hundreds of “hearts” throughout the city then.)

Right by Civic Center:

There was this cool chalk / stencil art on the ground also by the Civic Center, they were amazing!

In Hayes Green:

This was new installation, I used to live right by this park, they always have different art installations.

Embarcadero Center — Villancourt Fountain:

(I always loved the fountain, so cool!)

I’ve been spotted…

Visiting San Francisco has been so great! We are leaving tomorrow morning, it was too short to do everything I wanted to do, but I’m happy that we get to come back even for a short time.

Just wanted to quickly post my first fashion blog appearance at CLASSY SASSY – my pictures are bad… but oh well. I am so flattered! Thank you, Lily!

I’ll be back soon!!

Off to San Francisco

I am going back to San Francisco this weekend (leaving in 4-5 hours or so!) — oh my god, I am so excited! We’re going to see lots of friends, going to see Haruki Murakami speak, I’m stopping by my old agency and see everyone there, going to many places I love, eat lots of yummy food… I’ll come back with lots of San Francisco coolness and inspirations so please come back again on Wednesday or Thursday next week. (I have to go right back to the agency when I get home late on Tuesday night so) Wishing everyone a happy weekend!

Here are a couple images that I took on my last day in San Francisco back in December 2007. I’ll come back with more so just a glance here…

and I know exactly what this song means now (hehe):

Halloween at LAMA

I get to design everything for LAMA, it’s been so fun! I get to design their online newsletter every month and this month, it’s hallowen themed and I just had to share it here.

Each image is linked to the particular product so you can find out what it is by clicking it. (this is a screenshot so it won’t work, unfortunately…)

You can join LAMA mailing list anywhere on the website to receive one – she sometimes sends out discount code, too!
