Today’s Bridge 1.1.17

Walking around the Brooklyn Bridge park was our New Years tradition for the last few years so even though we moved to Bed-Stuy now, we decided to go walk around the park — so glad we did!

DUMBO signs. I’ve seen this online, but it was my first time seeing it on my own eyes. I think it changes colors…

The view never gets old! Always stunning.

Found Art: Please Touch The Art

Right now, there’s an art installation going on all over the Brooklyn Bridge Park by Public Art Fund – Please Touch the Art by Jeppe Hein. These unique bench arts are so bright they’ll catch your eyes for sure! And as it says in the title, you can touch the art and play with it.    On the other side of the Brooklyn Bridge Park, there’s a water art installation:

A wedding couple was in there taking photos… (not sure if you can see…?)

and here’s another one:

Circle circle fun!! :)

It was another beautiful Spring day today, I had all day with Miss Mili and Maia so we all went out to the Brooklyn Bridge park. Some flowers are blooming everywhere and makes me really happy to see! Yay, Spring!!

Trees are still half naked, but I see little buds coming out everywhere… so nice…

The Brooklyn Bridge. We haven’t been this side of the park for a while so it was fresh :)

We went to the Playground, too, do you spot Maia (above) patiently waiting for us? Dogs are not allowed in there…

It was the first day of Spring yesterday and we had a pretty nice and sunny day. (I still see some snow mark this week’s forecast, though… aw) We took a nice walk, but then I realized that the Brooklyn Bridge Park by the Manhattan Bridge is CLOSED! What?! I guess they are working on some new things at the park and it’ll be closed until winter 2014/2015! I was so shocked and bummed to know that :(

Anyways. The photo has no filter, too bad I can’t get any closer to the Manhattan Bridge for a while…
