On Front street just under the Manhattan Bridge. New mural called “Intersection†by the team of Brooklyn artists Heidy Garay, Mikell Fine Isles and Sam Vernon.
It’s nice to have new art on the street, makes ordinary walk a little bit more special :)
Remember this post? Well, the knitted grand piano is at the Manhattan Bridge Archway and already being enjoyed by many people! It’s for “Sing for Hope“; the piano will be available to be played by all who pass by. More on DUMBO NYC blog and their website.
Someone was playing the piano every 3 times I passed by yesterday! and they are all so good, it made me smile :)

I think a knitted grand piano is coming to DUMBO really soon… found this covered up big thing in the archway yesterday and from the knitted legs and the petals, I’m pretty sure this is a grand piano. All covered by knit! Can’t wait for it to be revealed :)

Blanc & Rouge — a wine shop in DUMBO always has great hand-lettering chalkboard sign. This one is no exception. Lovely “Summer Wines” lettering.
I so wish I could just sip a little… (but I can’t! I’m pregnant…)
