I have been seeing these awesome commercials for United Airline and I just had to post them here. Especially, when you watch it in HD Television, the animation looks so amazing and I love how each style is different – very artistic!

Yes, the Olympic Opening Ceremony was just crazy over-the-top-gorgeousness, I am not posting about that here… I just stopped by Opening Ceremony in Soho and I love that store soo much! If you are a designer, creator, fashionista, or anyone who appreciates fashion design, you will find lots of inspirations here for sure. I saw lots of clothing design that I never seen before and it was just eye opening to shop around.
And what’s more, they wrap your purchased clothes around a red bandana tissue! I love that.
They opened another store called “Acne” in NY and they had this cool postcard for that, too. It has a map to both of the store and it is from Opening Ceremony to Acne:

I guess I just missed the Olympic Opening Ceremony… I woke up relatively early (well, Maia wakes me up early), though.
This looks spectacular! I have to catch it on TV today for sure.
Anyway, besides the Olympic starting, my Friday morning inspiration comes from these unique business cards:
I wrote about one of my favorite stores, Paper Source not being in NY before and so when I went to Boston, I had to make it there since they have a few – I went to the Cambridge one and I had fun!
I bought a few things, but I especially love these letterpressed assorted “thank you” labels (about 20 of them all different designs!) and this pretty white handmade ceramic bowl to organize little things on my desk.
