Subway Art: 8th Street #3

From the 8th Street Station (N&R line). I heart NY, maybe? See #1 and #2 from this station, too. There are a lot of cute mosaic art here!

Subway Art: 23rd Street #2

I know I’ve posted some of the photos from the 23rd Street station before, but I was at this station the other day and couldn’t help but capturing more of the cute hats :)

There are a bunch more! Each hat design is different. So cute!

Found Art: Captain Baby

This was actually found by Mili last week at a subway station while waiting for a train. On a piece of cardboard, a kitty and “captain baby” was spray painted. I didn’t even realize, good eye, Mili!

Poetry in Motion

I saw these “Poetry in Motion” posters the other day and made me look. I guess this program has been running since 1992, and brought more than 200 poems or excerpts before the eyes of millions of subway riders and rail commuters, offering each a moment of timelessness in the busy day. That’s so awesome and I’m glad it came back this month (I guess it was taking a break for the last 4 years.) It sure gave me a moment of timelessness!

On kind of the same subject, The Grand Central Terminal has just turned 100 years and they have all sorts of events, I’m going to check it out for sure…
