I LOVE when I find a new art in DUMBO. Welcome, Heartwalk, a massive, 30-foot art installation made from Sandy-salvaged wood in the Pearl Street Triangle! SO awesome to have you!!

Where’s Spring?! It was snowing again today in NYC. Sigh. It was cold over the weekend, too, but I passed by the farmer’s market in Union Square and saw lots of pretty flowers. I thought I saw a tiny bit of Spring and made me happy. Wanted to buy some so I can have a little Spring at home, but I already had so much stuff with me so just took some photos… I can NOT wait any longer!!!
I was pretty excited to find this sign — this whole building in front of our building used to have many more signs like this, but when they are converting it into a luxury condo apartment, they erased most of them! For some reason, they left this one… I hope they would never erase such special things.
Another one I found in Fort Greene from the weekend: No. 7. It’s a sign for a bar, very simple and direct. There was another one across the street, too.
