Park Slope Community Garden

There is this cutest community garden in Park Slope I walk by sometimes. It is open to everybody and people are relaxing, working on the garden, saying hi to each other – so cute! You see nice little things like this around here and it always makes me smile.

Wednesday Morning

It’s been so nice and I still can’t believe how nice it is here in spring time. All the trees on the street are in bloom, flowers are every where and my morning has been the nicest thing ever! (My current freelance office is very flexible, if I can come in by 10am-12pm, it’s all good, so I am loving my stress-free morning time) I took some pictures this morning from home to Maia’s day care to the subway station.

Brooklyn Flea

My calender was marked for this day since I met Grace from Design *Sponge in January. The first Brooklyn Flea! It was so packed, too, even though it was cold out (It was like San Francisco cold.) It’s happening every Sundays now and made me happy that I could come here every week if I wanted to. It’s in Forte Green, Brooklyn, a few stations away from where I live. They had from antique stores to hand-made crafty goods to soap, foods, arts, prints, vintage clothes, fabrics…. everything!

Shopping with Maia poking her head out of my bag always gets lots of attentions – this day was the best/worst. It’s great that everyone loves her and she puts everyone a big smile, but it is hard when she gets attentions every 5 seconds! I couldn’t shop much… but oh well. I can come back next week!

Prospect Park

We took a little walk in the Prospect Park this Sunday – The biggest park in Brooklyn. We live right by the park, but due to the freezing weather, we never took a walk there yet. It was still cold, though, it was sunny and nice and I can see the nature wanting Spring just as bad as I do.
