Bryant Park (Spring)

I got to leave a little early from work yesterday and so I went back to Bryant Park area and wow, it’s like a different park! Last time I went there was on February and the trees were so naked, but look how green it is now – and I love that everyone is relaxing and enjoying the park – all right in the middle of the big city.

Cool Apple Store

The Fifth Avenue Apple Store is the coolest! You see a huge glass cubic and the Apple mark is floating in the middle and you go downstairs to the stores. They have a gallery for more pictures, oh, and it’s not just the coolest, it’s the busiest Apple store, it seemed like!

Dachshund Parade

I heard that there is a Dachshund Parade twice a year in Washington Square in NYC, one in April and one in October, from this dachshund lover when I was out with Maia. One just happened this weekend and we were so there with Maia. I guess we didn’t get there early so by that time we got there, lots of them went home or something, but there were still many dachshunds in the park! It was so funny. Maia had a blast, of course, and we had fun, too! We were inspired by a couple of dachshunds in Hays Valley where we used to live and that’s why we got one, but we had no idea how many of them are in NYC and how much people love them. Enjoy the pictures!

Stone Street

I kept saying, but it has been so so nice here in NYC. Everyday is unbelievable. In San Francisco, I built the habit to carry around a jacket everyday for the last 10 and a half years… so of course I still carry around a jacket just in case, but I haven’t been wearing it at all. Not even night time! One layer of clothes. That’s it. and feels soo great outside! (I think SF people know why I’m so excited about this) Street gets busier and busier everyday, too. So many restaurants and bars open up in outside and people are eating and drinking outside so much. So lively.

Anyway. Tonight was especially nice and so Randy and I tried to have a bite on Stone Street (this cute street in downtown Manhattan) after work… and ohh my god, the street was packed!!! All the downtown working people come there after work, I guess… but wow.
