Head Hoods Poster

Spotted a poster for Head Hoods in Williamsburg. I’ve posted about their funny unique hoodies before so I knew what this is for, and I love their style, it’s cool and eye catching. Very simple, bold and funny.

I’m off to my letterpress studio, see you guys tomorrow! xo

Faceless Watch

I first saw this on ffffound and I thought it was so cool and I wanted one so badly. (or maybe for Randy if it is too big for my wrist) Looked around some more, and it’s of course from Japan, the shop is called 100%.

This Faceless LED Watch displays time in the metal band – how simple and cool!

It’s not available yet, and they also carry really cool designed items but it seems like it’s only available to people who live in Japan. Maybe next time I go back to Japan, I’ll see if I can get this…

Beer Label Designs

I mentioned that we have a guest this week, it is Randy’s friend from SF, Dean, and so I’ve been hanging out with the boys a lot and guess where they took me yesterday? The Bowery Beer Room! It is in the Whole Foods Market in Lower East Side, I’ve been there many times, but not this beer room area… and wow, I was amazed how many kinds of beer they have from all over the world! It was like a museum of beer or something. And the boys were more excited than ever! In the meantime, I was looking at some cool label designs and enjoyed my visit to the beer room.

Shelves full of different kinds of beer:

I would never go here by myself so it was a fun and unexpected visit :)

Black Ink

One more post from my Boston trip this morning… about the shop I love called Black Ink in Harvard Square! I guess they have a shop in Beacon Hill, too, but every time I go to this store, I get so excited to see all the cool designs, little nickknacks that I don’t really need, but they are just so cute, and such cool stuff everywhere in the store!

Store sign – already cool and bold:

I can’t wait to set this up in our kitchen! (Mainly for Randy to use)

They also have an Online store, they don’t carry nearly half the stuff you see at the store, but it is still fun to look around and shop around. Here are my picks…
