Thinking of Japan…

Today is March 11th, 2 years since the big earthquake in Japan… I couldn’t help but thinking about my country and send all my thoughts and prayers… I got this blanket for Mili’s 1st birthday last year from Think of Japan While Knitting project. Every time I see this blanket, I think of Japan and the thoughts that put into this blanket. I can’t wait to explain where this came from when Mili is older, too.

Today’s Bridge 3.7.13

It was a cold windy day today… A little snow was falling, too… After this bad weather, it’ll be all warm and nice this weekend… (So they say.) Hopefully the last bits of winter!

I walked by the Tobacco warehouse and took this Brooklyn bridge photo. It felt like my nose was going to fall!

Found Type: LOVE

I was over at the Pomme store (love that store!) and look what I’ve found — LOVE made out of flowers and butterflies! Made me happy instantly. Can’t wait for the Spring to come…

Poetry in Motion

I saw these “Poetry in Motion” posters the other day and made me look. I guess this program has been running since 1992, and brought more than 200 poems or excerpts before the eyes of millions of subway riders and rail commuters, offering each a moment of timelessness in the busy day. That’s so awesome and I’m glad it came back this month (I guess it was taking a break for the last 4 years.) It sure gave me a moment of timelessness!

On kind of the same subject, The Grand Central Terminal has just turned 100 years and they have all sorts of events, I’m going to check it out for sure…
