Guest Blogger at sfgirlbybay

I am a proud guest blogger at sfgirlbybay today (and next Wednesday)! While Victoria is on vacation in Thailand, I am taking her readers to Japan (The Isamu Noguchi Garden Museum Japan) and back in San Francisco (Typography in SF). Please visit my full post here and here and other amazing guest bloggers’ posts from sfgirlbybay homepage.

Elum Letterpress Prints

I love these letterpress limited edition prints from elm — so gorgeous!

They have a lot of cool and pretty cards, invitations, announcements and I love their clean and crisp impression. The usage of the color is great, too.

Here are some holiday card inspirations from them as I am starting to think about it…

You can see more at elm website.

Coffee Art

Tuesday morning inspiration comes from these art on the wall at the Starbucks in SF that caught my eye.

I know they are commercial art, but they look so inviting and warm. I love them on the red wall, too.

I’ve posted about their espresso wall before – I like that they always have art and design to look at while you sip your coffee. mmm. Yummy.

Silkscreen Reclamation Project

I saw this poster at the Cooper Union. They are having a Silkscreen Reclamation Project show starting today. It sounds pretty cool and I love the poster. Very clean and simple, and the paper they used has a nice texture and caught my eye.

I’m not sure if this is open to public since it is at the school 2nd Floor Gallery, but I will check it out this week when I go to my class and report if I can.

Note: It is open to public!!!
