I am back in NYC now, and oh my god, it’s HOT! It says it’d be 99 degrees! June in Japan is a rainy season and SF was always cold in June and so this is like the hottest June I’ve ever spent.. and we have no air conditioner yet! aww I’ve been sweating like crazy ever since I landed…
Anyways. I wanted to keep posting all my Japanese trip photos and here are some from Hiroshima day trip. I got to visit Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park one day and saw Atomic Bomb Dome and surroundings.
I’ve been there before when I was young, but it always makes me think and there are lots of world peace wishes here, you can feel it.
Again, I took Shinkansen from Okayama towards Kyushu.
Took a bus from Hiroshima station:
There is a big river in front of the Dome:
The Statue of the A-Bomb Children:
There are millions of origami cranes from all over the countries wishing the world peace:
The Peace Bell:
View from the bridge:
Right by the Park, there is a Hiroshima Carp Baseball Stadium:
