This morning, I saw MadeByJulene (Julene Harrison)‘s amazing work over at Design*Sponge and I was blown away. Especially, this San Francisco piece… How gorgeous! Love the lettering, love the landmark art, love the frames… This made my day! (and I think this is the place)
She does custom papercut pieces, I found many more awesome ones over at her site.

We stopped by Chelsea Piers Batting Cage on Randy’s birthday (I didn’t try… but he did!) and this insert token area caught my eye. Love the red and the blue combination.

As I mentioned yesterday, I loved Coney Island! I want to go back there again one more time this summer… perhaps get on the roller coaster or see a circus or just hang around on the beach… :)
I found lots of cool signs, hand-lettering, hand-painted signs everywhere, that was really exciting to me.
When you look into the store, you see more types…
and of course, Nathan’s Famous — Love all the menu design with yellow, green and red. Each rectangle shape has different designs, but they all work together nicely.
A hot dog eating contest… (hehe)
We brought our own hot dog. There were too many people to let her go on the ground so she stayed in her favorite bag.
