Fireworks

On the 4th of July, we went to our friends’ house in Red Hook, Brooklyn and had BBQ and watched fireworks from the roof – it was raining a little bit, but we could watch many different fireworks! Especially, I could watch downtown fireworks with Statue of Liberty next to it and also, midtown fireworks with Empire State Building behind it, it was so New York, I loved it!

(it is always so hard to take fireworks pictures… and I don’t know if you can see the Manhattan behind it, but hope you get the picture…)

Happy 4th of July!

Wishing everyone a happy 4th of July! It’s my first Independence day in NYC and wanted to go to Coney Island to see a Hot Dog Easting Contest, but watched it live at home instead – it was a close game! Maybe next year… with Maia! She’d be the perfect dog for the occasion. hehe

e!

Big “e” from 57th Street between 5th and 6th Avenue in Manhattan. Bold and cool, I want one in my home (if it fits).
