Perry Street

I was shopping around in West Village this weekend and there was a little flea market on Perry Street between Bleecker Street and West 4th Street. There is always something going on in the city, I love it.

And then, as I walked around the market, I realized that so many people were looking at one direction and everyone was taking pictures… lots of pictures… of a house entrance. Girls were taking a group picture in front of the place, I was asked to take pictures with the entrance, and I realized that everyone was women… You might have known already, but yes, it was a Carrie Bradshaw’s house (see this article). I had no idea it was such a tourist spot! The new movie is coming out and I’m sure everyone will be flipping out in here. I will be in Japan to witness any of it, though…

Central Park

I got to stop by a part of the Central Park from the 59th Street and 5th Avenue entrance yesterday – so pretty, so picturesque, so New York!

Rare Device

Rare Device in Park Slope Brooklyn is closing soon… and they are having a big sale because of it. When I just moved to Brooklyn, the owner just moved to San Francisco and opened a shop there, too, but there will be no more neighborhood Rare Device. I walk by there everyday so it’s sad to say good-bye… There is always an online store, though, it’s not the same.
