First Snow of the Year

It snowed last Saturday for the first time this year! I think everyone has been waiting for it :) Hope your weekend was a good one!

I have been thinking of having some sort of schedule on my blog… it’s been 4 years (!) and I always post whatever I was inspired by that day, but maybe try new things this year and see if I like that… and hopefully, this blog can be more focused and also, you like some kind of predicted contents everyday… I’ll let you know! September flew by so fast… it’ll be October starting tomorrow! My due date is fast approaching, if I disappeared for a while, that means I am welcoming our baby :) *I am planning on preparing a post for it so you might see that instead.

Found: Wild Mushrooms

aw it’s 10pm, I couldn’t post anything today until now… but it is my “daily” inspiration blog so even though it’s late, I will post something… something I found… wild mushrooms!

There were so many of them in the grass area between DUMBO and Brooklyn Heights on Washington Street. Made me look!

It’s true that I am exhausted all the time now that I’m 37 weeks pregnant… time is ticking! And I had no idea I would be so busy with doctor’s appointment and classes and such. Plus, we are still setting up nursery room and packing hospital bag on top of regular everyday work… I will be taking maternity leave soon, though, I think I will have my shop open until I’m in labor… (shop accordingly, please!)

Happy Friday, everyone! This week, we felt an earthquake (that was scary!) and now, hurricane Irene is coming this weekend… All of a sudden, NY is getting hit by a natural disaster… I hope it’ll be all okay…

I just wanted to end the week with some fun photos from my trip to the Cape Cod. Enjoy!

We saw the bunny almost everyday.

Basic Japanese Cooking

I received this cool Japanese cooking book along with many other nice things including a brand-new rice cooker (!) on Christmas from my parents-in-law (thank you so much!!) and I had to share because not only this book tells you how to cook all sorts of great Japanese meals, but also, the photography of the book is really beautiful. Just flipping through the book to see each page is like a treat for your eye!

Here are some pages… aren’t they pretty?

We are having a small dinner party this weekend and making some Japanese hot pot, plus we are thinking of cooking some of the appetizers or salads from this book :)

Happy Friday + Goodbye MA

We are coming home to Brooklyn today! Hancock vacation / working week was cool, we worked during the day and night, we took jacuzzi bath every day (I so wish we had this at home…), I swam one day, hanging out by the fireplace everyday… but I think we are ready to go home. I miss the city…

I took few more pictures on my iPhone ShakeIt app, so I will leave these for you while we are driving back today :)
