Psst. There is a new blog in town :: Miles to Style. My friend slash lovely client Christine from LAMA has launched a blog about fashion and dog!

Christine and her adorable dog, Miles (I’ve met him when I first met Christine, he was in his bag, didn’t say anything throughout our meeting at a café. I remember being so impressed by him. What a good boy!) will show you how to coordinate “the look” together both you and your dog and I’m sure more fun posts are coming soon… isn’t it so fun and cute?!

I remember telling Christine when we first got Maia, she was just as excited as I was and she sent me TONS of links for cute dog bags, clothes and collars, I had no idea there were so many fashionable dog related things out there until I had a dog! And yes, she hooked me into all that right away :)

I was so very happy to be a little help putting together the design that she envisioned, too — still in progress, more to come!

LAMA Halloween Newsletter

I always have so much fun designing anything for LAMA since the day one. Their newsletter is one of my fun work I get to do and this month, it is Halloween themed… but very elegant and cool, fun, and edgy LAMA way!

They are introducing a new line of gorgeous jewelry, I was in love with them right away, and I thought instead of making the newsletter looking more spooky or Halloween-like, I just turned the llama pattern (usually in blue) and everything black — let the picture talk itself.

I love how it came out :) Maybe you can see the LAMA blog for some discount code…

Halloween is tomorrow! aww I am so not ready… it’s been crazy busy… but I will pull out something and have fun for sure!

I get to design everything for LAMA, it’s been so fun! I get to design their online newsletter every month and this month, it’s hallowen themed and I just had to share it here.

LAMA Blog

I redesigned a blog for LAMA by using word press template and customized it for LAMA. I think it looks clean and simple, consistent with the store site so I’m happy how it came out. Christine is going to be posting a lot of cool stuff and it is already bookmarked for my daily read!

I’m doing a few more blog designs now and I am forced to learn PHP and CSS… it is interesting how everything works and I want to be fluent… someday…

LAMA Launches!

I am so happy to announce that LAMA shopping site officially launched today! I posted about LAMA logo design before and we have been working so hard for this day ever since. We had to go through major crisis and pull some late nights, but I am so happy how it came out! Christine, the owner of LAMA has been great to work with and it’s been very inspiring to see the process of opening an online store from the beginning and how she has been achieving her dream to bring Latin America in her own way like this.

And special thank you to Randy, of course, for all his hard work! This wouldn’t happen without him!!

LAMA logo design

I just finished my first logo design of the year for LAMA : Latin America in the Modern Age. I’m also going to design the business card, the letterhead and the e-commerce website as well, which is all very exciting! Christine, the owner of LAMA has been so great to work with and I had so much fun coming up with design ideas and exploring lots of different shapes, colors, and we both agreed this is it. (just black and white version here, we decided to do one color depending on the background)

Logo is very important for a company — it speaks out its brand and communicates with people in tiny format! I’m so happy with this LAMA logo and so is Christine… that’s one of the most important parts of my job, too, to make client happy! I can’t wait to see how everything will come together.
