On the ground of Jane’s Carousel, there is a huge type (their logo, I guess, but I don’t see it on their website) carved into the asphalt it is really cool!

I wanted to take a whole picture, but it is so big that I couldn’t… the design is really nice, too. Happy found Tuesday!

There is this red dumpster with big sprayed type on Water street… catches my eye!

Found Type: Anthropologie Store

I was in the neighborhood so I stopped by the Anthropologie store in Rockefeller Center last Friday — it’s always so inspirational! Found some types to share :)

Love the type wall (above) — letters are stamped randomly, but it also makes great textures… caught my eye.

and of course, the letter H :)

Even their SALE area had some great type, nice and big, white and red letters…

Found Type: On Atlantic Avenue

I realize that I am so behind of everything and I still have lots to do at 7pm… but as today’s inspiration, I wanted to post this found type photo real quick. We had to go run some errands earlier today and found this building covered by typography. Caught my eye and so I took picture from inside of the car on Atlantic Avenue. Cool, right? :)

Last Saturday, we went to Brooklyn Flea and found lots of fun stuff and of course, the types/letters :)

Embroidery letters on an image in a vintage frame — thought it was interesting.

Hope you had a nice weekend… I had a shopping (for Japan!) and early dinner day with my friend in the city yesterday :) and while I was having fun, I found this sprayed letters “F M E C” everywhere on Houston Street. Blue on yellow. It stood out to me so I snapped a couple photos…

Found Type: St. Mark’s Bookshop

I was at the St. Mark’s Bookshop the other day and found few types/type treatments I wanted to share.

This poster on the wall caught my eye. The End of Print. Love the type treatment. Looks like wood types…

There are a lot of hand-printed books in the shop, it’s awesome to look around. This book cover is 3-color letterpress printed.

and this book cover was really well letterpressed. (sorry for my iPhone quality photos..) Makes me want to work on a book cover…!
