On Sunday, February 1st was the Superbowl and this commercial almost made me tear up. Such an eye opening commercial! It was the most memorable commercial for sure. Makes me think, especially now I have a daughter. I want her to be confident as a girl for sure and live strongly as a girl.
The other morning, I was on a subway that was totally wrapped around with the NBA All-Star advertisement. I guess it’ll be in NY this year! From the ceiling to the seats, walls to doors, it was covered by the graphics, you can’t help but look around.
The subway seats are usually orange, yellow, red or grey, but they changed the seats, too. That was impressive. I like the New York skyline along the windows…
And of course, the outside of the train was wrapped around with the advertisement, too. (The train was leaving so it’s a bit blurry, but you get the idea)
It was the coolest subway wrap I’ve ever seen for sure!
I saw these “Poetry in Motion” posters the other day and made me look. I guess this program has been running since 1992, and brought more than 200 poems or excerpts before the eyes of millions of subway riders and rail commuters, offering each a moment of timelessness in the busy day. That’s so awesome and I’m glad it came back this month (I guess it was taking a break for the last 4 years.) It sure gave me a moment of timelessness!
This is from Monday afternoon, but I saw a text advertising up in the sky! I couldn’t read everything because of the building, but said to “join us #…..” — I’ve never seen a type in the sky like this so I was pretty excited :)
